One-Day Seminar On Energy Conservation In Steam Systems

Under the auspices of the Technology & Energy Expert Committee, ICC is organizing One-day Seminar on "ENERGY CONSERVATION IN STEAM SYSTEMS" on Friday, 1 June 2012 at Mumbai. The venue of the Seminar is Prive Hall, The Orchid Hotel, Nehru Road, Adjacent to Domestic Airport, Santacruz (E), Mumbai - 400 099.

The basic objective is to discuss energy conservation in steam systems covering steam generation, distribution, utilization, recovery, new steam systems approach including modern v/s traditional steam system etc.

OBJECTIVE:

In the emerging scenario of huge price increases of all conventional fuels, industry now sees serious and threatening shortages of oil, gas and coal. These developments, not only increase costs, but also have the potential to disrupt operations. By embracing modern steam systems and introducing energy efficient combustion systems as well as efficiency monitoring systems, chemical plants can save themselves from serious consequences of plant operations being affected. The Seminar will provide a comprehensive coverage of all the above aspects and suggest solutions for the chemical industry.

PROGRAM:

The Seminar is being organized in cooperation with FORBES MARSHALL, Pune and expert speakers from FORBES MARSHALL will conduct various sessions covering following topics:

  • Efficient Steam Generation
  • Clean Combustion Technology for Steam Generation
  • Maximizing Boiler Efficiency by close monitoring
  • Efficient Steam Distribution & Energy Efficient Steam Trapping system
  • Pressure and Temperature Control system
  • Energy/Heat Recovery from Flash, Condensate and Process waste
  • New Concept and approach for steam system ( Modern Vs Traditional Steam System including services
  • Case study
