The Indian Chemical Council (ICC) and the Tamilnadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) have joined hands for initiating interventions to support the Chemical Industry for achieving inclusive and sustainable development. One of the key initiatives identified under the joint programme includes promotion of "Responsible Care®", a global voluntary programme being implemented in 58 economies including in India, administered by ICC for Indian chemical industries.
Responsible Care (RC) is a Chemical Industry Initiative, which calls on Companies to demonstrate their commitment to improve all aspects of performance, which relate to protection of health, safety and environment.
