One-day Workshop on DISTRIBUTION CODE OF RESPONSIBLE CARE WITH A FOCUS ON SAFETY AND SECURITY

Under the auspices of Sustainability, Responsible Care and Safety, Health & Environment Expert Committee, ICC and in co-operation with American Chemistry Council (ACC)&CRDF USA is organizing a one day workshop on "DISTRIBUTION CODE OF RESPONSIBLE CARE WITH FOCUS ON SAFETY & SECURITY" on 17 June 2015.  The venue of the Workshop is The Gateway Hotels Vadodara, Akota Garden, Akota, Vadodara, Gujarat.  Mr. Daniel Roczniak, Senior Director, Responsible Care & Value Chain Outreach, American Chemistry Council and other experts are coming to India to participate in the Workshop.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this Workshop is to create awareness about safety and security related issues in the transportation, storage and use of hazardous chemicals. Members are aware that ICC is promoting Responsible Care initiative in India and over a period of next three years it is likely that Security Code will also be introduced as a part of Responsible Care initiative.  The Workshop will also highlight the importance of Security Code and how it is followed in USA and Europe.

PROGRAM

It will be noticed that experts from USA and Indian industry will be sharing and making presentations on important topics such as Transportation of Hazardous Cargo by Road and Rail, Safety & Security in Warehousing and Tank Terminal and importance of Drivers Training etc.
