The Indian Chemical Council (ICC) is dedicated to the growth and development of the chemical industry in India. Founded in 1938 as the Indian Chemical Manufacturers Association (ICMA), by Acharya P.C Ray. it was rebranded as ICC to reflect its broader representation of the entire chemical value chain, including basic chemicals, specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, petrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
