Job Description for Secretary - Southern Region of ICC are given below:

• Shall be accountable for collecting Membership Dues and increasing the membership of ICC in the Southern Region and shall closely liaise with all Sothern Regional members to address their issues.
• Shall organise Conferences / Seminars / Workshops etc. for the benefit of members on various topics after discussing with the Regional Chairperson and National HQ, Mumbai
• Organize Southern Regional Committee meetings on a periodical basis.
• Generate sponsorship / advertisement/Delegate Nominations etc. for all ICC events.
• To co-ordinate with various Departments including State Pollution Control Boards and Investment Bureau of concerned Ministries in the State Governments in the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka and Union Territory of Pondicherry.   
•  Arrange appointments /Meetings with the Ministers, Secretaries and key personnel of various Departments of Government for Office Bearers / EC / ICC Secretariat.
• Shall represent ICC in the meetings convened by various ministries of the Government and to furnish activity reports of such meetings and interactions.
• Seek advertisement for Chemical News and ICC Website and arrange to contribute articles for Chemical News from members and experts of the Chemical Industry.
• To prepare annual budget and participate in quarterly reviews and shall endeavour to increase revenue of Southern Region and devote full time to activities of ICC.
• To prepare and submit monthly Income & Expenditure statement to NHQ.
• Prepare and submit weekly activity reports of the Southern Region.
•  Interact with other Industry Associations in Southern Region to ensure ICC members are updated with the developments happening in the industry.
• To obtain all notifications related to various Ministries / Departments for posting on ICC website. 
• Shall be responsible for the issue of Certificate of Origin.
• Need to do any other tasks/ activities/ work as instructed by the Management from time to time.
