Taking ahead the success of the first edition, we are pleased to inform you that the Indian Chemical Council (ICC), the principal industry body representing the chemical and petrochemical sectors in India, is organizing the Second Edition of "ICC Sustainability Conclave: Sustainability makes Economic Sense" to be held on 20th -21st January 2021.

It will be a virtual Conclave and will also include a 5 days' Virtual Exhibition (19 - 23 January 2021) covering various aspects of sustainable technologies relevant to the chemical and petrochemical industry.

Environment Resource Management (ERM), a globally renowned entity in the sector is the Knowledge Partner.

Mr Prakash Javadekar, Hon'ble Minister for Environment, Forests & Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India inaugurated the first edition held on 4-th November 2019. Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi shared a congratulatory message for the conclave (attached).

The conclave will be organized, jointly with the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) and United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). It is being organised in close coordination with the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change; and the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. 

This edition of the two-day Conclave will broadly focus on the following areas:

• Minimizing Environmental & Societal Impact -A Sustainable Approach;
• Sustainable practices across the World;
• Sustainable Chemicals Management- Evolving Regulatory Frameworks;
• Innovation Drives Sustainability;

• Towards a Pollution Free Planet- Role of multi-stakeholder Partnership;
• Issues in Management - Air, Soil, Water.
