The Sixth Webinar in the First Set of this Series will be held Virtually on Friday, 24 June 2022 from 3.30 p.m. – 5.00 p.m. on “ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Innovations in the Energy Storage / Electric Vehicle Sector”.

Greetings from Indian Chemical Council (ICC)!

You are already aware that under the auspices of the Technology & Energy Expert Committee, ICC is organizing a "SERIES OF WEBINARS BY EMINENT SPEAKERS” on the Fourth Friday of every month from 3.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

The Sixth Webinar in the First Set of this Series will be held Virtually on Friday, 24 June 2022 from 3.30 p.m. – 5.00 p.m. on "ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Innovations in the Energy Storage / Electric Vehicle Sector”. The eminent speaker for this Webinar is Dr. Richard Lobo, Tata Chemicals Ltd.

This Series of Webinars has already begun in January 2022. The first five Webinars delivered by eminent speakers were held successfully.

Attached herewith the Abstract and Biodata of Dr. Richard Lobo for your kind reference please.

The details regarding the next set of Webinars will be communicated to you soon.

BACKGROUND:

The depletion of fossil fuels, the increase of energy demands, and the concerns over climate change are the major driving forces for the development of renewable energy. However, the intermittency of renewable energy has hindered the deployment of large-scale intermittent renewable energy, which, therefore, has necessitated the development of advanced large-scale energy storage technologies. The use of large-scale energy storage can effectively improve the efficiency of energy resource utilization, and increase the use of variable renewable resources, the energy access, and the end-use sector electrification.

OBJECTIVE:

The objective of these Webinars is to strengthen the concepts of the world’s latest technologies.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Industry professionals including Senior Managers and Executives, Engineers working in Plants, EHS professionals, Students currently pursuing their degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, recent recruits in the chemical Industry.

REGISTRATION FEES:

- Fees for ICC Members & Non Members for each Webinar: Rs. 1180/- per delegate (Rs. 1000/- plus 18% GST) - Fees for Students for each webinar: Rs. 590/- per delegate (Rs. 500/- plus 18% GST)
