Greetings from Indian Chemical Council (ICC) and Forum for Trade Remedies (FFTR) to you!
The Chemical and petrochemical sector plays a vital role in the economic development of any country. Its healthy growth is important. Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (or self-reliant India) is the vision of the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi of making India a self-reliant nation. The aim includes to boost domestic production of chemicals and petrochemicals to cut down imports and make India a manufacturing hub for the sector.
Towards this aim, ICC and FFTR are jointly organizing a webinar on status, potential and effectiveness as also the role of various Trade Remedy Measures (TRM) & Non-Tariff Barriers (NTB) in facilitating the Indian chemical and petrochemical industry. The program is attached.
The Webinar will be on Cisco Webex Platform on TUESDAY, 25 AUGUST 2020 at 1500 to 1700 hrs.

Being an initiative to facilitate Atma-nirbhar Bharat Initiative and to encourage the Indian chemical and petrochemical industry, there is no participation fee.
The program is most useful for senior management as also operational leaders. At the end of the presentations by speakers, there will be discussion session to give opportunity to the participants to clear their doubts and concerns.
