Indian Chemical Council (ICC) is organizing a Two-day Refresher Course on SEPARATION PROCESSES (Absorption, Distillation, and Extraction) on 12-13 April 2012. The venue of the Refresher Course is the Terrace Hall, West End Hotel, 45 New Marine Lines, Near Bombay Hospital, Mumbai - 400 020.
OBJECTIVE:
As a part of continuing education program, Indian Chemical Council (ICC) has been offering seminars, refresher courses etc on relevant topics for practicing personnel in chemical and allied industries time to time to refresh various need-based subjects. This time the two-day Refresher Course on Separation Processes intends to cover distillation, extraction and absorption. Eminent faculties from Research / Academic Institutes and Industries will present and deliberate on basics, simplified design equations, column internals / packing and case studies to the extent possible.
FEEDBACK REQUESTED:
The participants who would be attending the Refresher Course are requested to send their queries and problems they are facing in their day-to-day working related to the topics that will be covered, to ICC beforehand. This will help Expert Speakers to study these issues beforehand and give advice during the Refresher Course. This will also help for meaningful discussions and will offer delegates the opportunity to learn by sharing ideas and widen professional skills for a smooth operation at work place.
PROGRAM:
Prof. V. V. Mahajani and Dr. T. A. Patil, Members of Technology & Energy Expert Committee, ICC are the Coordinators for the Refresher Course. It will be seen from the Program that various relevant topics such as Extraction, Coalescence, and Absorption with reaction have been covered. Case Studies will also be presented by the chemical companies.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Process Design Engineers & Operating Engineers from Refinery, Petrochemical Complex, Fertilizer Complex, Medium and Small Scale Chemical Industries, middle and higher level chemical engineers etc. should consider attending the Refresher Course.
Certificates will be presented to the participating delegates.
REGISTRATION FEES:
To defray the expenses, the registration fees will be as follows:
