Dear Sir / Madam,
Members are aware that recently ICC announced the prestigious Annual Awards for excellence in performance in various categories for the year 2017. The Council has invited representatives of the Award Winning companies to participate in the 9th Seminar on "RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE OF PERFORMANCE IN VARIOUS FACETS OF CHEMICAL INDUSTRY" and highlight the various initiatives they have taken in respect of their achievements which prompted ICC to confer on them the Awards. The representatives of Award winning Companies will share their experiences which will be of great learning experience for the delegates who will be attending the Seminar.
Prof. G. D. Yadav, Vice Chancellor, Institute of Chemical Technology has agreed to be Guest of Honour and Mr. Samir Kumar Biswas, IAS, Joint Secretary – Chemicals, DCPC, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India has been invited to be Chief Guest and inaugurate the Seminar.

Detailed program is enclosed herewith for ready reference. It will be noticed from the program that experts from different Award Winning Companies will participate and make presentation on different areas covering Development of Indigenous Technology, Process Design and Engineering, Management of Health & Safety, Management of Environment, Energy Conservation & Management, Social Responsibility, Human Resource Management in Chemical Industry, Responsible Care etc.

Mr. Fernando Musa, Chief Executive Officer, Braskem SA has kindly agreed to be the Chief Guest and Mr. P. Raghavendra Rao, Secretary, DCPC, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India has agreed to be Guest of Honour for the function.
