Members are aware that ICC Awards are held in high esteem and well recognized by the Indian industry.
ICC is aware that performance of the Indian chemical industry in the various categories has been improving continuously from year to year and therefore the Council expects large number of nominations from the industry for ICC Awards for the year 2016.
We are happy to inform you that based on the feedback received/noted during scrutiny of the past nominations, ICC has recently revised / modified rules & regulations governing ICC Awards and has also merged some Awards and reframed titles of the Awards.

Kindly note that Nomination Form for the ICC ADITYA BIRLA AWARD FOR BEST RESPONSIBLE CARE COMMITTED COMPANY and for CERTIFICATE OF MERIT for Best Compliant Company for the Codes under Responsible Care will be invited separately. Please await for the announcement.
Participation is open to any industrial unit engaged in operation of Refinery; Petrochemicals; Fertilizers; Inorganic & Organic chemicals; Speciality chemicals; Pharma / Biotech; Agrochemicals;Man-made Fibres; Soaps & Detergents; Paints &Pigments; Dyes &Dye Intermediates, both in Public and Private Sector.
ICC Awards for the year 2015 were presented to the winners at a glittering function organized at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai on 30 September 2016. The function was attended by a galaxy of guests including captains of industry, academia, research institutions, senior officials of Government Departments apart from other invited dignitaries.
Prof. M. M. Sharma, Former Director, UDCT (now ICT) was the Chief Guest and Mr. Ashwin S. Dani, Vice Chairman, Asian Paints Ltd was the Guest of Honour.
A Special Supplement was brought out in all editions of financial daily - BUSINESS STANDARD.

Attached herewith please find the following to facilitate your participation in the Awards:
The nomination, clearly mentioning the category under which nomination is sent, together with enclosures thereto, if any, should be submitted in 3 Hard Copies & 15 Soft Copies for the purpose of circulation amongst the members of the Selection Committee.
Along with the nominations also submit last 2 years Balance Sheet and current year's Balance Sheet may be submitted subsequently when result is out. This is for facilitating process of scrutiny even before company's results are announced.
Applicants are expected to give relevant information as per the requirement prescribed only. Sketchy information will result into disqualification which may please be noted.
Nominations should be sent strictly in the prescribed format as per rules & regulations governing ICC Awards.
