ICC's Team of professional experts along with TNPCB engineer visited hexavalent chromium bearing dumpsite in Ranipet on December 2, 2016. Thanks to CPCB for initiating pre-remedial investigations for cleanup of the dump-site. Immediate need is to identify appropriate interventions based on study findings, technical inputs from industries and views of other stakeholders.
