Members are aware that recently ICC announced the prestigious Annual Awards for excellence in performance in various categories for the year 2016.  The Council has invited representatives of the Award Winning companies to participate in the Seminar on "RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE OF PERFORMANCE IN VARIOUS FACETS OF CHEMICAL INDUSTRY" and highlight the various initiatives they have taken in respect of their achievements which prompted ICC to confer on them the Awards. The representatives of Award winning Companies will share their experiences which will be of great learning experience for the delegates who will be attending the Seminar.

Mr. Samir Kumar Biswas, Joint Secretary, DCPC, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India has been invited to attend the Seminar and deliver the Key-Note Address.

Mr. Rainer Heubach, Chairman, Heubach Colour Pvt. Ltd. has kindly agreed to be the Chief Guest and Mr. Rajeev Kapoor, Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India has agreed to be the Guest of Honour for the function.

Apart from industry Awards, ICC will also be honoring Mr. Arun Bharat Ram, Chairman, SRF Ltd by presenting LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD.

ICC D. M. Trivedi Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution to Indian Chemical Industry (Management of Industry) will be presented to Mr. Kamal P. Nanavaty, President- Strategy Development, Reliance Industries Ltd.

ICC D. M. Trivedi Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution to Indian Chemical Industry (Education & Research) will also be presented to the winner.

The Awards Presentation Function will be followed by Dinner. All the delegates attending the Seminar are invited to join the function.
