Indian Chemical Council (ICC) and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) jointly organizing ONE-DAY WORKSHOP FOR TOP MANAGEMENT ON RESPONSIBLE CARE" on 11 November 2016. The venue of the Workshop is Presidential Hall, Vivanta by Taj President, 90 Cuffe Parade, Mumbai - 400 005.

INTRODUCTION: 

This is to inform that a delegation of ICC comprising Mr. Ravi Goenka, Mr. Yogesh Kothari, Mr. Vivek Shetty and Mr. Sateesh Babu met Dr. P. Anbalagan, Member Secretary, and Mr. P.K. Mirashe, Asst. Secretary, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board on September 22, 2016.  It has been opined during the discussions that ICC and MPCB shall jointly conduct a Workshop on Responsible Care in Mumbai for giving required orientation and to extend possible soft provisions to recognize and encourage chemical industries.

Accordingly, ICC-MPCB "One-Day Workshop for Top Management on Responsible Care" has been organized. Further, a panel discussion on environmental matters of chemical industries in Maharashtra has been planned with MPCB senior Officers, in order to facilitate participating top management to interact on the issues of concern.

PROGRAM: 

Detailed announcement of the Workshop is enclosed for your reference.   Presentations have been organized such that each Code under Responsible Care Programme is precisely covered.  Besides, representatives of industries who have implemented Responsible Care will also share their experiences including benefits they have accrued as a result of implementation of the Responsible Care Programme, which facilitated them to hold RC logo.

The specifically designed panel discussion will facilitate deliberations on environmental issues in the Maharashtra State and way forward. Dr. P. Anbalagan, Member Secretary and Mr. P. K. Mirashe, Assistant Secretary, MPCB and senior members of ICC will be participating in the Panel Discussion where various issues can be discussed.

Workshop is highly recommended for CEOs, Top Management, Executives and Heads of EHS, Senior Environmental, Health, Safety Officers from the Industry and the Government.

REGISTRATION FEES: 

To defray the expenses, the registration fees will be as follows:

ICC Members: Rs. 10,000/- per delegate (plus 15% Service Tax)

Others: Rs. 12,000/- per delegate (plus 15% Service Tax)
